 Mercy Johnson Raises Concern Over Alleged Unjust Arrest of Regina Daniel’s Brother 


Nollywood star Mercy Johnson has voiced her outrage over what she describes as a disturbing act of injustice involving the arrest of Regina Daniel’s brother under questionable circumstances.  


Taking to social media, she lamented that Sammy had been detained for two days without access to family or legal representation, before allegedly being flown from Lagos to Abuja and taken directly to court from the airport.  


In her emotional post, she wrote,  

“The worst form of injustice is pretending injustice doesn’t exist. A child was arrested, and no one has been allowed to see him for two days. He was flown from Lagos to Abuja and is allegedly being taken to court from the airport. How did we get here?”  


Her statement has since stirred strong reactions online, with fans and human rights advocates demanding clarity and accountability from the authorities

Kano, Nigeria — November 8: Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), commonly known as the Shi’ite sect, on Friday took to the streets of Kano to protest against a recent statement by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who allegedly threatened to invade Nigeria under the pretext of fighting terrorism. The protesters marched through major streets in the city, holding placards and banners condemning Trump’s remarks.
